Dizzee Rascal has said that he would ‘love to’ make a return to the Glastonbury festival again this year.

Dizzee’s act has seen him fuse his own style of rap with classic rock, grunge and metal in a display of his diverse musical influences, making him a firm festival favourite. Speaking after hosting Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show yesterday, the East London rapper responded to Glasto organiser Emily Eavis’ massive hint that “we’ve got to have Dizzee, I think that’s a given”, by confirming his interest in appearing at the 40th anniversary of the event.

For now, however, Dizzee has a long year of touring and writing ahead of him as he prepares to cut a new record for a 2011 release, while insisting that he will ‘keep it moving’. Good on you, Dizzee.

Dizzee Rascal will be playing Big Day Out Festival in Australia from Friday 15th to Sunday 31st January and is confirmed for the Lovebox Festival in Victoria Park, London in July.
