What opportunities are still available?

We still have very limited vacancies with Bearded Theory in May.

We are running a reserves list for 2000Trees and Bloodstock Festival.  This reserves list is currently quite small, so if you get on the reserves list sooner rather than later you will have a stronger chance of making it onto the team over the coming weeks, as we get drop outs.

To apply for these vacancies please go to http://www.thebetterfestivalgroup.co.uk/get-involved/bfgvac-2

We have teamed up with the Lovely Leefest in London this year to bring you volunteering opportunities to work with them either litter picking or fence erecting.  If you are interested in either of these opps then drop me an email and I will forward your details on.

Lifeguarding at Bearded Theory

Bearded Theory are still looking for a number of qualified Lifeguards to monitor water hazards throughout the site, to ensure the safety of its attendees.  In exchange for your time you will get; plenty of time off to enjoy the festival, food provisions, crew camping and the chance to work in a friendly and interesting environment.  You need to be able to arrive on site on Wednesday 11th May, remain on site for the duration of the event and depart on Monday 16th May.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity so don’t miss out :)

To apply please email info@thebetterfestivalgroup.co.uk

A quick reminder when considering volunteering

Please do not apply for a position with us if you cannot arrive on the date indicated and remain on site until the provided departure date.  We do not give you these dates for fun, we give them to you because we need you on site from and to the dates given.  If you do apply and then fail to arrive or remain on site according to the dates provided you will be blacklisted.  It is becoming increasingly difficult to staff ALL the shifts we need to when people apply and then at the last minute start telling us that they cannot commit to the dates.  If you cannot commit please do not apply – let someone else who can commit take the opportunity!

What to do if you have been confirmed for an event but had no more information?

Further Information relating to confirmed volunteer placements have already been sent out (with the exception of Leefest).  If you have applied for an event and been confirmed but have not yet heard further information from us, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing info@thebetterfestivalgroup.co.uk

Car Sharing

If you are volunteering with us this year – Whether you want to look for a lift or whether you have a space in your car, please register on https://festivalbudi.liftshare.com/ and use this site to arrange a lift share with another volunteer.  Please make sure that your travel dates are clearly identified and checked with anyone interest in your post, as the site is used for normal attendees and their travel dates will obviously be different to yours.  So please double check with anyone who you talk to about car sharing that they are volunteering for The BFG and their travel dates should be the same.

Potential Headstock Vacancies

We may have some volunteering vacancies coming up with Headstock Festival.

We do not have any more information regarding this at the moment but if you are interested in finding out what we have available when it’s confirmed let us know by emailing info@thebetterfestivalgroup.co.uk
